Our Waterfront Just Became the Center of the Soccer Universe

Seriously, picture this: a floating mini pitch, right there on Elliott Bay, in the absolute heart of downtown Seattle. We're talking about a first-of-its-kind fan experience for FIFA World Cup 2026! This isn't just a place to catch the game, it's a full-on, vibrant festival exploding with music, incredible food, and all the diverse culture from across our amazing city. The Seattle Soccer Celebration powered by Lenovo is truly pulling out all the stops for us. They've already announced a jam-packed schedule of waterfront live viewings and immersive fan experiences, including those awesome Rave 52 Free Play Events. And get this, the Sounders FC and RAVE Foundation, in partnership with the Puyallup Tribe, even recently opened a transformational community soccer park. How cool is that for growing the game? Plus, Sounders FC, Starbucks, and Washington Youth Soccer launched the Washington Youth Soccer Match Pass, a brilliant way to celebrate and support the next generation of soccer talent here in the Evergreen State. This summer is going to be absolutely epic, plain and simple. Get ready!

Cristian Roldan's World Cup Call-Up Is Pure Fire

Can we get a huge moment of appreciation for Cristian Roldan, please?! The man is an absolute legend, plain and simple. We've watched him grow from a University of Washington standout to a cornerstone of the Rave Green, becoming one of only two Sounders to ever play 400 matches for the club. Now, he's officially headed to the biggest stage in the world, earning his well-deserved return to the USMNT for the World Cup! You know we'll be cheering him on like crazy, screaming from T-Mobile Park to Lumen Field! And seriously, if you want a piece of that Roldan magic, you can grab a Cristian Bobble Ticket Bundle for our August 19 match against Austin. What a fantastic deal to celebrate a true Seattle icon! It's not just Roldan making waves, either. Former Sounder Obed Vargas is also set for the 2026 FIFA World Cup with Mexico, showing off that incredible talent we've come to expect. And the future is bright, with Snyder Brunell and Stuart Hawkins already getting called up to the U.S. Men's Youth National Teams. The Sounders pipeline is seriously real, folks! We've seen some intense action on the pitch recently too. The Sounders FC had some huge matchups in May, like our nail-biting game against LAFC on May 24, and the May 16 showdown against the LA Galaxy. And who could forget those clutch moments, like Osaze De Rosario tallying a game-winner with just one minute to spare, or Jesús Ferreira dribbling the entire field before netting Seattle's second goal of the night? This team keeps us on the edge of our seats, always! Get ready to feel the electric energy of the World Cup like never before, right here on Elliott Bay. And mark your calendars for August 19, because you absolutely need to be at Lumen Field to cheer on Cristian Roldan and the Sounders when they take on Austin. Our boys are hungry, and with the World Cup buzz building and local talent shining so bright, this season is shaping up to be nothing short of legendary. Let's go Sounders! This is our year!
