A New Mexico Native Just Made the Seahawks Dance Team and the Timing Couldn't Be Better

The Seattle Seahawks dance team just welcomed a fresh face to the squad, and she's bringing some New Mexico pride straight to the Pacific Northwest. A University of New Mexico graduate has officially joined the reigning Super Bowl champion Seahawks, marking a major career milestone for the dancer.

From Albuquerque to the Emerald City

This is the kind of story that hits different when you're a fan of both college athletics and the pros. A UNM grad earning a spot on one of the most decorated dance teams in the NFL is no small feat. The Seahawks' dance team represents the franchise at every home game at Lumen Field, and being selected to that squad means you're performing at the highest level in front of 70,000 fans who bleed green and blue.

What This Means for the Team

The Seahawks are riding high after winning the Super Bowl, and every element of the organization is operating at peak level. That includes the dance team, which is part of the gameday experience that makes Seahawks football in Seattle special. Adding fresh talent to that roster keeps the energy sharp and gives fans something exciting to watch between plays.

This dancer now gets to be part of something legendary. She'll perform at Climate Pledge Arena during Seahawks games and represent one of the most passionate fan bases in football. Not bad for a UNM graduate making her way to the NFL stage.

Looking Ahead

As the Seahawks continue their season, moments like this remind us that success in Seattle extends beyond the field. The entire organization, from the players to the performers, is locked in and ready to compete. Welcome to the 12s.
