Alex Tuch Just Gave Buffalo the Edge and Boston Has a Real Problem Now

Alex Tuch scored the go-ahead goal and the Sabres are one win away from moving on. Buffalo took a 2-1 series lead over the Bruins, and if you're wearing black and gold in Boston right now, you're running out of runway fast.

Tuch Delivers When It Matters Most

The Sabres forward came through in the clutch, netting the decisive goal to push Buffalo ahead in what's shaping up to be a tight playoff series. One goal can feel like everything in April, and Tuch's strike proved exactly that. Boston came into this matchup expecting to control the narrative, but instead they're staring down a 2-1 hole with the Bruins needing to respond immediately.

The Bruins' Window Is Closing

Being down in a best-of-seven is manageable. Being down in a series where your opponent just showed they can score the big goal when they need it? That's a different animal. Buffalo is playing with confidence right now, and the Bruins need to find answers fast or watch their playoff run come to an end sooner than anyone in Boston expected.

The next game is critical for Los Angeles. One loss away from elimination, the Bruins have to go back to work and find a way to even this thing up. This is what playoff hockey looks like in late April: one goal determines everything.
