Awa Fam Can't Wait to Start Her Seattle Storm Journey as the No. 3 Pick
The 2026 WNBA Draft is in the books, and the Seattle Storm just added a game-changing talent to the roster. No. 3 overall pick Awa Fam is ready to get to work in the Emerald City, and honestly, the energy is contagious. Fresh off being introduced to WNBA fans everywhere, Fam has already made it clear where her head is at: she can't wait to begin her professional career in Seattle.
A Dream Landing Spot
Fam didn't hold back when talking about what she's looking forward to with the Storm. This isn't a player who needs to be convinced she landed in the right place. She's genuinely excited about pulling on that green and white and getting on the court at Climate Pledge Arena. For a franchise that has dominated women's basketball in this city for years, bringing in a top-3 talent with that kind of hunger is exactly what you want to see heading into the season.
