The Stage 2 Gauntlet Was a BEAST

You know how it is, every single match counts when you are fighting for your season, for your shot at glory. Stage 2 of the IEM Cologne Major was no joke, a real gauntlet for these teams. Monte, Legacy, and B8, they left it all out there. They put on a clinic, showing serious skill and mental toughness, even if they waited until the final buzzer to make us all sweat buckets. The official close of Stage 2 means we are moving on, but not before we give a huge shoutout to the squads that had to claw their way in. They didn’t just waltz through, not like some of the others. They earned it, fought for every single round, plain and simple. And that, my friends, is exactly what we love to see from competitive play. Pure heart!

Who Else Dominated (or Cruised) to Stage 3?

While Monte, Legacy, and B8 gave us that last-minute, heart-stopping drama, let’s not forget some of the other powerhouses who already locked their spots. The source article told us 9z, BetBoom, and G2 had already blasted their way to Stage 3, making their own bold statements earlier in the tournament. They were not messing around. And then you had Spirit and FUT, who apparently just cruised right through Stage 2. "Stroll through," the article explicitly said, which tells you everything you need to know about their dominant, seemingly effortless run. So, what does this mean for Stage 3? We’ve got a mix of contenders: the ones who dominated from the jump, the ones who had to fight for every single round, and our very own last-minute heroes in Monte, Legacy, and B8. It’s a full house for Stage 3, and the competition is only going to get crazier from here.
