Clippers Demolish Kings 138-109: LA's Dominance on Display

The LA Clippers put on a clinic against the Sacramento Kings on April 5, 2026, rolling to a 138-109 victory that left no doubt about who belonged on the court. This was a statement win for the Clippers, who are making their case as serious contenders as we push deeper into the season.

Clippers Take Control Early and Never Look Back

From the opening tip, LA was the better team. The Clippers' offense was clicking on all cylinders, and their defense was suffocating. Sacramento couldn't find any rhythm, couldn't get into any sort of flow. By the time the dust settled, the Kings were looking at a 29-point deficit on the scoreboard. That's the kind of gap that tells you everything you need to know about the matchup: the Clippers were simply the superior team tonight.

Kings Left Searching for Answers

Sacramento came in trying to make some noise, but they ran into a buzzsaw. The Kings managed just 109 points, which is never going to cut it at any level of basketball. LA's defense was relentless, forcing turnovers and contested shots. When a team gets outscored 138-109, the issues run deeper than just one bad quarter. The Kings' entire offensive scheme got disrupted, and they never recovered.

This is the kind of performance that resonates around the league. The Clippers showed they can turn it on when it matters, and Sacramento has some serious work to do if they want to keep pace with the elite teams in the West. LA moves forward riding high, while the Kings head back to the drawing board.
