Cubs Land Late Haymakers to Stun Dodgers and Extend Winning Streak to 10

The Dodgers had this one locked down. Four runs up heading into the seventh inning at Dodger Stadium, and suddenly the Cubs flipped the script with some clutch late-inning heroics. Alex Bregman and Dansby Swanson both went deep to spark a Cubs comeback that pushed Los Angeles to the brink, capping off a stunning 10th consecutive win for Chicago.

The Dodgers Squandered Their Advantage

Coming into the seventh, the Dodgers looked comfortable up 4 runs. But baseball doesn't care about comfortable leads, and the Cubs made them pay for letting their foot off the gas. Bregman's bat came alive with a clutch connection, and when Swanson followed suit with his own blast, the momentum swung hard in Chicago's direction. Suddenly it was a ballgame again, and the Dodgers had to scramble to keep their composure.

Chicago's Hot Streak Rolls On

The Cubs are playing some of the best baseball in the league right now. That 10th straight win is no accident, and April 24th's comeback just adds another chapter to what's been an impressive run. When a team can come back from four down against a team like the Dodgers, you know something special is brewing. Both teams are sitting at 17-9 after this matchup, but the Cubs have the momentum heading forward.

The Dodgers will get another crack at the Cubs tomorrow night. Chicago's hot streak is for real, and Los Angeles will be looking to bounce back and even the series. This is the kind of baseball that defines early season form, and both teams know these games matter.
