While the Seattle Seahawks have started the season 2-0, there has been a lot more credit given to the defense than the offense. There is still a lot of room to grow for the offense to get to the right spot.
Still, with the offense not being as good as expected, Geno Smith led the entire NFL in passing yards in the Seahawks week two win against the Patriots.
Coming into this season, everyone has been waiting to see what kind of offense this will be under new offensive coordinator, Ryan Grubb. Grubb built one of the most dangerous offenses in college football history with the Washington Huskies the last two seasons.
This offense is loaded with so much talent:
- QB Geno Smith
- RB Kenneth Walker III
- RB Zach Charbonnet
- WR DK Metcalf
- WR Tyler Lockett
- WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba
- WR Jake Bobo
- TE Noah Fant
- TE Pharaoh Brown
Everyone knows there is going to be some game where this offense just clicks to another level... DK Metcalf says: 'It's just a ticking timebomb for all of our stars.'
He continued: "Cause you got Lock, me, Jax and you still haven't seen Noah," Metcalf said. "You saw Ken Week 1. Zach Charbonnet still has to break out. So, I think it's just a ticking timebomb for all of our stars on offense just to have their game."
DK Metcalf was asked whether it was good to see JSN (12 catches, 117 yards) have a breakout game vs New England.

DK Metcalf also is tired of hearing about why QB Geno Smith is 'underrated' in the NFL:
"You all been calling this man underrated for three years," Metcalf said. "When is it gonna stop?
"He's not underrated by any means. He's an NFL quarterback, just like 31 other NFL quarterbacks. I don't think the underrated title should be used anymore. He's very successful at what he does."
