Dude Perfect Copied Lil Sas' Viral NFL Draft Sketch, Word For Word, and Nobody's Calling Them Out

Look, we all know the internet is basically a remix machine. Memes get recycled, jokes get spun a hundred different ways, and honestly, that's just how it works in 2026. But what Dude Perfect just pulled off is something else entirely. They didn't just borrow a concept or riff on an idea. They straight up replicated Lil Sas' viral NFL Draft sketch almost beat for beat, line for line, and somehow they're getting away with it.

The Copy Is Almost Too Perfect

Here's the thing that makes this wild: Dude Perfect is a trick shot company. They're known for ridiculous three-pointers off water towers and absurd stunts. Sketch comedy? That's not their lane. So when they dropped what is essentially a carbon copy of one of the most popular viral sketches on the internet, it felt genuinely shocking. They could have actually gotten away with it clean, too, if they'd remembered one crucial detail from the original. That one throwaway line from the off-camera friend that made the whole thing land. You know the one: "How are you gonna pay rent?" Without that moment, without Doogs in the background delivering that line, this isn't a tribute. It's just a bizarre near-perfect copy that looks exactly like what it is.

The Problem Nobody's Talking About

The real issue here? Most people aren't on Twitter anymore. Seriously. The amount of people actively scrolling Twitter in 2026 is shockingly small. Which means for the huge chunk of the internet that gets their news and entertainment somewhere else, the Dude Perfect sketch probably just looks like the Dude Perfect sketch now. The original creator gets buried. The credit evaporates. And Dude Perfect's version becomes the one people remember.

Weird move all around. But congrats on the success, guys.
