The Phillies are rolling toward an NL East crown, and Wednesday’s win over the Marlins was another statement. Bryce Harper and the boys crushed Miami 9–3, with Max Kepler, Brandon Marsh, and Harrison Bader all going deep. It was the first time since 2022 that all three starting outfielders homered in the same game, an absolute flex.
But the highlight wasn’t just Bader’s shot, it was the chaos in the stands after. When his homer reached the seats, a young fan’s dad hustled to grab the ball. Perfect memory, right? Nope. Another fan swooped in and snatched it right out of the kid’s hands on his birthday.

The Marlins quickly tried to clean up the mess, gifting the kid goodies while the crowd rallied behind him. Meanwhile, the ball-snatching villain got roasted by MLB fans online.
So the Phillies keep winning, the Mets keep sinking, and one Miami fan just became baseball’s newest public enemy.
