"Huge potential," "athleticism," "quality" , these aren't just buzzwords. This is exactly the kind of player you want anchoring your defense, especially when you're making that jump to a new, more challenging league. We're not just hoping for the best; we're actively building a squad with serious firepower. So, as we look ahead to our inaugural National League campaign, the excitement is already building. Having Makai Welch locked in on a permanent deal is a massive shot in the arm. He’s a player with proven experience with the club, a manager who believes in his "huge potential," and the kind of "athleticism and quality" that can make a real difference.
