Juke Harris Just Dropped 730 Points in One Season, and Tennessee Isn't Waiting Around to Snag Him

Rick Barnes made a power move on Monday. Juke Harris, the Wake Forest transfer who absolutely torched the ACC this past season, committed to Tennessee for 2026-27. This is exactly the kind of offensive firepower Barnes said he wanted this transfer cycle, and Harris is walking in with a resume that screams "veteran scorer."

The Numbers Are Ridiculous

Let's talk about what Harris just did at Wake Forest. He scored 730 points this season, the second-most in program history for a single year. That's not a typo. He also set a Wake Forest record with 35 straight games in double-digit scoring to start the season. His final average: 21.4 points per game. In ACC conference play? He cranked that up to 22.9 points per game, second-best in school history. Harris is a career 44% shooter from the field and hits 32.8% from three, so he's not just jacking up shots either.

From Backup to Star in One Season

This wasn't some fluke breakout. As a freshman in 2024-25, Harris played in 29 games and started just one time, averaging 19.4 minutes per night. Fast forward to this past season: he stepped into the starting role and went from backup to All-ACC transfer by bumping his minutes up to 35.2 per game. That's a full-time role, and he proved he could handle it.

Harris will arrive at Tennessee as a junior, meaning Rocky Top gets two years of this kind of offensive production. For a program that's been aggressive in the portal, this is the kind of addition that actually moves the needle early in the season.
