Quick Hits Around the Leagues

Elsewhere in MLB, the Rays stand at 41-27, and the Dodgers are at 45-27. They've got a game scheduled for 7:10 PM tonight. We saw some crazy highlights too, like the Rockies leading the A's 23-9. Chourio hit a leadoff home run to set the tone, Ben Rice had a clutch home run in the 9th inning, and Caminero smacked a go-ahead home run. Yamamoto's no-hitter ended in the 9th, which is always a heartbreaker, but Miz threw a 15-strikeout complete game, which is just incredible. Okamoto went yard on the Yankees, Goldschmidt hit a clutch 9th-inning home run, and Skubal recorded his first strikeout in his return. On the injury front, J-Ram has a hamate bone fracture, which is a tough break for them. In the WNBA, the Liberty reached the Commissioner's Cup Final, and Angel dropped 15 and 17 on Tempo. Clark and Boston also made history in a huge moment for the league. There's also news floating around for soccer, college football, and pro wrestling, if you're into that!
