Knicks Just Knocked Off the Sixers and Nobody in the East Is Ready for What's Coming

The New York Knicks are up 2-0 against Philadelphia, and the 76ers are in serious trouble. Jalen Brunson finished with 26 points and 6 assists to lead the charge, while Tyrese Maxey kept the Sixers competitive with a team-high 26 points of his own. But it wasn't enough. The Knicks are rolling, and they're heading back to Madison Square Garden with their sights set on finishing this thing.

Brunson Is Running the Show

When you're down 0-2 in a playoff series, you need everything to break right. The 76ers got a strong individual performance from Maxey, but Brunson's all-around game was the difference. Six assists paired with 26 points means the Knicks' offense is humming on all cylinders, and that's a problem for every team still alive in the East.

The Sixers' Road Gets Steeper

Philadelphia's situation just got a whole lot tougher. Down 2-0 in a best-of-seven means you're staring down the barrel of elimination, and the Knicks showed no signs of slowing down. Maxey kept his team in it, but one hot scorer isn't enough when the other team has balance and momentum on their side.

The complete coverage of the 76ers vs. Knicks series tells the whole story: New York is the team to beat in the Eastern Conference semifinals right now. The question isn't whether the Sixers can come back. The question is how much time they have left to figure it out.
