Kraken Cruise Past Flames With Dominant Home Performance
The Seattle Kraken took care of business at home on April 12, dropping the Calgary Flames 4-1 in a convincing display that had the Climate Pledge Arena rocking. This is exactly the kind of win you want to see when you're grinding through the season, and the boys showed up ready to play.
Offensive Firepower on Full Display
Four goals on the night from Seattle is the kind of output that wins games and sends a message to the rest of the league. The Kraken's forward group came to work, and it showed. Whether it was depth scoring or contributions across the lineup, the team found ways to put pucks in the net when it mattered. That's playoff-caliber hockey right there.

Holding Calgary to just one goal is the kind of defensive performance that makes Joey Daccord's job easier. The blue line, led by guys like Adam Larsson, Vince Dunn, and Brandon Montour, kept the Flames from generating dangerous chances. This is the formula Seattle needs to lean on down the stretch: solid defense, timely offense, and a goalie who stands tall when the pressure is on.
Looking Ahead
Games like this one are huge for building momentum. The Kraken showed they can compete with anyone in this league when they bring their A-game to both ends of the ice. With Jordan Eberle leading the charge as captain and the forward depth of guys like Matty Beniers, Jared McCann, and Chandler Stephenson all contributing, this team has the pieces to make noise. Keep an eye on how Seattle builds on this win in the coming games.
