Matt Boldy Ends It in OT and Minnesota Just Leveled This Series at 2-2

The Minnesota Wild just forced a Game 5 and it came down to one beautiful moment. Matt Boldy buried the overtime winner with 29 seconds left on the clock, lifting the Wild to a 3-2 victory over the visiting Dallas Stars on Saturday night in St. Paul. This is a best-of-seven Western Conference first-round matchup, and now it is completely tied up.

Boldy's Clutch Finish

With the series on the line and everything to play for, Boldy delivered when it mattered most. His goal came with the game hanging in the balance late in overtime, and it sent the home crowd into absolute mayhem. The Wild needed that moment badly, and Boldy answered the call.

Faber Contributed on the Scoreboard Too

Brock Faber also found the back of the net during the game, adding to Minnesota's scoring punch. The Wild got multiple contributions up and down the lineup, which is exactly what you need when you are fighting to stay alive in a playoff series.

Back to Dallas They Go

This series is headed back to Dallas completely even at 2-2. The Stars came into St. Paul with a chance to take command of this matchup, but the Wild had other plans. Now both teams head to Game 5 with everything still in the balance. The intensity is only going to ramp up from here.
