Michael Porter Jr. might be switching teams after being traded from the Denver Nuggets to the Brooklyn Nets, but he’s not leaving Denver without one last gem of life advice from Nikola Jokić. After Porter got traded to the Brooklyn Nets, Jokić reportedly texted him some… very specific life advice: “Make sure you wear condom out there.”

That’s straight from the Joker himself. Forget film breakdowns or motivational speeches or talking about the NBA finals run togther, Jokić is out here giving Porter the kind of wisdom you’d expect from a drunk uncle at Thanksgiving.
It’s classic Jokić, though. The man dominates the NBA without breaking a sweat, rides horses in his downtime, and clearly doesn’t waste energy sugarcoating anything. Now he’s passing along safe-sex PSAs to his ex-teammates heading to New York.
Porter’s still gotta prove himself in Brooklyn, but at least we know he’s going into it with Jokić-approved “protection.”
