Motiejus Krivas Running It Back at Arizona: One More Senior Year in Tucson

Arizona's catching depth just got a whole lot deeper. Center Motiejus Krivas is returning for his senior season with the Wildcats, and if you've been following college baseball closely, this is the kind of stability that makes a roster hum.

A Senior Who Still Has More to Give

Here's the thing about guys who stick around for one more year: they usually know exactly what they're doing back there. Krivas made the call to come back for his final eligible season, which means Arizona's getting another year of experience, leadership, and game-calling from behind the plate. That's not something you can just plug in a transfer and replicate.

What This Means for the Wildcats

In early April, when every team is still figuring out its identity, having a proven backstop who knows the pitching staff inside and out is gold. Krivas staying put gives Arizona continuity at one of the most important positions on the field. His decision to return signals confidence in what the program is building.

The Wildcats can now count on familiar hands managing the pitching staff, handling game strategy, and mentoring younger arms coming up through the system. That's the kind of foundation you build winning seasons on.
