Robbie Ouzts Could Be the Missing Piece Seattle Needs Right Now
The Seahawks have been busy this offseason, but one name keeps coming up that deserves way more attention: Robbie Ouzts. With Sam Darnold under center and a receiving corps featuring Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Rashid Shaheed, and Cooper Kupp, Seattle's offense has serious firepower. But here's the thing, the front office needs to figure out how to actually use what Ouzts brings to the table.
The Offseason Is Moving Fast
Seattle's been making moves. Brady Russell and Josh Jones just signed, and now Emanuel Wilson is on the roster as a running back. The free agency tracker is getting longer by the day. Mike Macdonald and Brian Fleury have a blueprint for what they want to build, and it's starting to take shape. But in the middle of all these additions, Ouzts feels like a name that could unlock something special if the coaching staff gets creative with how they deploy him.
Why This Actually Matters
The 2026 season is coming, and honestly, the Seahawks likely open on a Wednesday night. That's a big stage right out of the gate. The roster has serious talent up and down the lineup, but execution is everything. Using your weapons effectively separates good teams from playoff contenders. Ouzts is there. The question is whether Seattle will actually find ways to get him involved and make him a focal point of what they're trying to do.
The Bottom Line
Free agency is almost wrapped up, and the draft is coming soon. If the Seahawks are serious about making a real run, they can't leave production on the field. Ouzts needs to be part of the game plan, not an afterthought. Seattle's got the pieces. Now they need to use them right.
