Rockets Turn 3-0 Hole Into 99-93 Stunner, Force Game 6 and Make Lakers Sweat

Houston just did something that looked impossible a few days ago. Down 3-0 in the series, the Rockets walked into Game 5 with the kind of swagger that only a team that truly believes in itself can carry. They went to work in the fourth quarter, shut down Los Angeles, and stole a 99-93 victory to force a Game 6. The Lakers' 3-2 series lead is suddenly looking a whole lot shakier than it did 48 hours ago.

Houston's Fourth Quarter Takeover

This is the kind of basketball that makes you sit up straight. The Rockets turned a potential elimination game into a statement win by dominating the fourth quarter. They played with confidence, made the right reads, and executed when it mattered most. Los Angeles couldn't match their intensity down the stretch. James led the Lakers with 25 points, which should've been enough to close out a series. It wasn't. That's how good Houston looked when the game was on the line.

Back to the Pressure Cooker

A 3-0 series lead is supposed to be the safest thing in basketball. Now Houston has made it a pressure situation for LA. The Rockets forced Game 6, and you can feel the momentum shift. This is exactly the kind of run that gets into a team's head. Los Angeles came into this series expecting to wrap things up. Instead, they're heading back home knowing they couldn't finish the job on the road.

Game 6 is coming, and the Rockets have proven they're not done fighting.
