Seattle Seahawks Put Another Defensive Starter On The IR....

The Seattle Seahawks season has been a roller coaster already... 3-0 start, then 3-3 after that, then the injuries just started to pile in.

The Seahawks defense has played some games where they were missing 6 out of the 11 starters on that side of the ball. It has not been pretty. Especially, for a defense that was expected to make a big turnaround with new head coach Mike Macdonald.

After yesterday's news of losing cornerback Artie Burns to the Injury Reserve, the Seahawks have now lost another player.

New Seahawks safety Rayshawn Jenkins has been playing with a club on to protect his hand, but it looks like it has gotten worse and he is now places on the IR as well.

Jenkins, who signed with the Seahawks as a free agent, ranks third on the team in tackles with 38 and has played every snap on defense this season.

Safety Ty Okada was signed off the practice squad to fill the open roster spot and add depth at safety. Additionally, the Seahawks signed cornerback Eric Garror to the practice squad.

With Jenkins sidelined, the Seahawks' options at safety alongside Julian Love include K'Von Wallace, who already has a significant role in three-safety packages, Coby Bryant and Okada.
