The Seahawks are one of five teams in the entire NFL that are currently 3-0. So it's pretty clear that they are having a really good start to the year, yet, some people do not believe the Seahawks based on one thing.... Their schedule.
While it should not matter, a lot of people are complaining that the Seattle Seahawks haven't played the best competition in the NFL this year, despite being 3-0. Personally, I would say that it does not matter, at the end of the day, there is a reason there are only five teams left with a 3-0 record, simply you have to be good.
Seahawks are good, and it's not just because of that 3-0 record, but because there are a lot of statistics that prove it. Event though, it was rare for the Seahawks and some other teams to be in this company...
The Vikings, Steelers and Seahawks are all 3-0 despite each team having a less than 40% chance to make the playoffs this preseason, per ESPN Analytics.
Entering Week 1 the Vikings had an 8% chance of starting 3-0, the Steelers had a 13% chance of starting 3-0 and the Seahawks had a 20% chance of winning their first 3 games.
According to ESPN Analytics there was an 0.2 percent chance that all 3 teams would start the season 3-0.
The Seattle Seahawks are now currently shocking everyone, they are current the #1 overall PFF graded team in the entire NFL, while also being the #1 overall defense on PFF grading, and having the #1 overall grade for coverage. This team is doing something really special. You can see the defense keeps getting better.
