Sounders Head to Mexico for Concacaf Champions Cup Quarterfinal Against Tigres Tonight

The Seattle Sounders are taking the show south of the border tonight. They're heading to Mexico to face Tigres in the first leg of their Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinal, with kickoff set for 6 PM PT. You can catch all the action on FS2 and TUDN.

Big Stage, Big Opportunity

This is the kind of match that defines a season. The Sounders are in a continental competition that matters, and they're doing it on the road against one of Mexico's biggest clubs. It's not a friendly, it's not a tune-up. It's knockout soccer at its finest, and the Orca Boys need to bring their A-game to Mexico City.

The road has actually been pretty impressive for Seattle this season. The team has shown they can compete away from home, and that's going to be crucial if they want to advance past Tigres and make a real run in this competition.

What's On the Line

This is the first leg of a two-match series. Seattle needs to get a result tonight that gives them something to work with when Tigres comes back to the Pacific Northwest for the second leg. A win would be ideal. A draw keeps everything in play. A loss? That's not the way you want to start a quarterfinal.

The Sounders have the talent and the experience to compete at this level. Now it's about executing when it matters most, on one of the biggest stages in North American soccer.

Tune in tonight at 6 PM PT on FS2 or TUDN and watch the Sounders battle for their place in the Concacaf Champions Cup semifinals.
