Sounders Ready to Keep Lumen Field Unbeatable as Dallas Comes to Town

The Sounders are rolling at home and they know it. Coach Brian Schmetzer's squad has been putting on a show for the 12s at Lumen Field, and they're looking to extend that hot streak when FC Dallas rolls into the Pacific Northwest for their next matchup.

Scoring Machine at Home

Seven goals in their last two matches at Lumen Field. That's the kind of offensive firepower that gets Seattle fans on their feet. Sure, the 3-1 win against Mexico's Tigres UANL last week came in a CONCACAF Champions Cup series loss, but you can't ignore what Schmetzer's team has been doing in front of their home crowd. The Sounders are entertaining, they're dangerous, and they're not easy to deal with when the Emerald City faithful is behind them.

Building Something Real

This is exactly what you want to see from a team early in the year. The Sounders came back to their stadium and immediately showed they belong there. They're creating chances, finishing them, and making Lumen Field a fortress. Schmetzer clearly has his squad locked in on what it takes to win at home, and that's the kind of identity that matters in MLS.

FC Dallas is next up, and the Sounders have a chance to keep this unbeaten run going in front of their own fans. If the offense stays hot and the Sounders keep playing with the same intensity and purpose they've shown, Dallas is going to have their hands full on the road.
