What a beautiful surprise announcement by the Seattle Seahawks just 6 days away from the NFL opening Sunday. This is such a cool way to start the season, bring out what I believe is the best jersey in the entire NFL.
The Seattle Seahawks are allowed only two games with their 1990s throwback threads. One of them was the previously announced Thursday Night Football meeting with the San Francisco 49ers on Oct. 10.

Now, the second week is this weekend’s regular season opener against the Denver Broncos.
Seattle wore these uniforms from 1976-2001 before the uniforms were reworked.
VIA FIELDGULLS: "The NFL amended its helmet policy back in 2022, greenlighting the Seahawks to bring back their old look when they were still in the old AFC West. Seattle’s first throwback uniform game was a thrilling 24-20 win over the Cleveland Browns last October, with Jaxon Smith-Njigba scoring the winning touchdown. In the second throwback game on the road against the Dallas Cowboys, the Seahawks lost a wild 41-35 shootout in one of the few punt-less games in NFL history."

I really hope they are slowing finding cool ways to bring them back, like this surprise on week 1, in preparation to bring them back full-time one day.
