Gaethje's "Short Guy" Jab Has Ilia Topuria Seeing Red Before Their White House Showdown!

HOLY MOLY, fight fans! Get ready for something wild because the UFC is throwing down on the South Lawn of the White House this Sunday! Yeah, you read that right. The White House! It's UFC Freedom 250, a seven-fight card packed with adrenaline. It's all part of a huge celebration for America's 250th birthday and President Donald Trump's 80th. But forget the festivities, because the main event between lightweight champ Ilia Topuria and interim champ Justin Gaethje is already boiling over, and we haven't even hit the octagon yet!

Main Event Drama is OFF THE CHARTS

Seriously, the heat between Topuria and Gaethje in D.C. has been INTENSE all week. Topuria is fuming, and who can blame him? Gaethje's dad reportedly called him "another short guy," which is just a low blow. Plus, there's chatter about Gaethje seemingly bringing up Topuria's ex-wife after a divorce. Topuria took exception to that, and can you blame his fury heading into such a title fight?

Gaethje, for his part, denies making any bad comments about Topuria's ex and thinks the champ is just looking for extra motivation. This isn't just a title unification; it's personal now, with gold on the line. For "The Highlight" Gaethje, a win would cap an incredible career. He's snagged interim titles twice and racked up performance bonuses, but the full title has always been just out of his grasp. Could this be his moment, finally over that hump on the biggest stage?

Championship Dreams & Stacked Card Action

The co-main event is epic, with Alex Pereira taking on Ciryl Gane for the interim heavyweight championship. Pereira is looking to make history, trying to snag a third-division championship after holding titles at both middleweight and light heavyweight. He's been one of the most reliable fighters in the UFC for the last five years, always delivers insane action. Gane, too, is looking to conquer that interim hump.

The card is stacked! Derrick Lewis, a late add, faces Josh Hokit, a fast-rising name fresh off an April fight of the year contender. Sean O'Malley is back against Aiemann Zahabi. Mauricio Ruffy takes on veteran Michael Chandler. Bo Nickal steps up against veteran Kyle Daukaus. Featherweight sluggers Diego Lopes and Steve Garcia open the show!

This Sunday isn't just a fight card; it's a spectacle, a chance for history and careers to be defined. You DO NOT want to miss any action from Washington D.C.! It's gonna be unforgettable!
