The Seattle Kraken Are Scoring A Lot Of Goals

It's very early the NHL season, and the Seattle Kraken are sitting at just 2-2 after the first four games. Despite being 2-2, they are scoring a lot of goals.

Now, the HALF the goals all came from one game this week, but nonetheless, it counts.

The Seattle Kraken scored four goals in the third period of a 7-3 win against the Nashville Predators at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday.

Jaden Schwartz, Jared McCann, Adam Larsson and Oliver Bjorkstrand each had a goal and an assist for the Kraken (2-2-0). Joey Daccord made 30 saves.

“Obviously, the first road trip is always nice to bring the guys together,” Kraken forward Chandler Stephenson said. “When you play a team on the other side like Nashville that is a good all-around team, to get one like that on the road and to finish off the [road trip] 2-1 is big.”

7 goals in one game is always good to see a team do, but 4 in one period is just as impressive.

With the 7 goals from Tuesday, the Kraken now have 14 goals scored through 4 games. Averaging 3.5 goals per game.

The Seattle Kraken's 14 goals is good for the 5th most in the NHL right now. Some teams have played only 3 games but some teams have also played 4 as well.

At any point of the season, to be Top 5 in goals scored, is always a good sign of things to come.

Seattle sports fans have been waiting for a good season from a team, and the Kraken's season is fresh, having people hoping this could be the team to help them get some good teams in the Pacific Northwest right now.
