The Seattle Mariners offense has been so bad. Yes we all know that, but just how bad have they been? Well bad enough to strike out an absurd over 1,000 times before the All Star break.

This is actually historically bad. 98 games over 1,000 strike outs. That’s over 10 strikeouts per game. Which is an absolutely brutal number. There’s no way a team should strike out over 10 times a game but alas, that’s what this Seattle Mariners offense has produced for us this season. If this team can’t turn around their bats a little bit here I think we can see that first place lead in the AL West disappear right before our eyes.
