The Seattle Seahawks Finally Have Some GOOD Injury News...

The Seattle Seahawks story of 2024 has been about a lot of injuries, all over the place. From the defensive secondary, to the defensive line, and to the offensive line. Finally, they have some good news when it comes to the injury report.

At the beginning of the 2024 season, the Seattle Seahawks placed three players on reserve/PUP list. Those players were defensive tackle Cameron Young, safety Jerrick Reed, and right tackle Abe Lucas. Last week, Young was elevated to the 53-man roster, and now Jerrick Reed II is back to practice.

On Monday, the Seahawks announced that Reed has been designated to return to practice. Reed, who has been rehabbing from a November 2023 ACL tear now is within his 21-day practice window.

Via FieldGulls: "The Seahawks drafted Reed in the 6th round out of the University of New Mexico. In his four years at New Mexico, Reed played both safety and nickel corner, recording 267 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, seven interceptions, and 22 passes defensed. In his rookie year for Seattle, Reed recorded 11 tackles in 10 games. This stat line, though underwhelming does not show the impact Reed had for Seattle. Nearly each game, Reed made a strong special teams play, quickly shining through as the best player on special teams. Adding Reed back to the roster could be crucial for Seattle as it has struggled mightily on special teams. Reed could return as early as this upcoming week against the Atlanta Falcons."

The Seahawks have been dealing with so many injuries on the offensive and defensive line that they have been making moves left and right. Make sure keep up with us for the latest Seahawks news and updates.
