The Seattle Supersonics are missed. The team left from Seattle to Oklahoma City but one thing they can't take is our history. These are the top 25 Seattle Sonics of all time.
25. Michael Cage
Cage was a solid performer for the Sonics. He spent the late 1980s and early 1990s with the franchise and the center could score, rebound and play defense.
24. Kevin Durant
Kevin Durant was drafted by the Seattle Supersonics out of the University of Texas. He could probably be one of the all time best Sonics of all time if the team didn't leave to Oklahoma City.
23. Derrick McKey
McKey started his career with the Sonics before moving to the Pacers. During his 7 seasons with Seattle he averaged over 15 PPG 3 times.
22. Sam Perkins
The "Big Smooth" was a beloved part of the Seattle Supersonics in the 1990s. A big man before his time he was able to step out and hit three-pointers which was ahead of his time.
21. Hersey Hawkins
Hersey Hawkins was the starting SG for the Sonics during their last trip tot he finals in 1996. He was a prolific scorer and was a pillar of consistency during his time with Seattle.

Brent Barry was a very solid Seattle Supersonic. He was high flying and was a fan favorite during the late 90s and early 2000s.

Lonnie Shelton was a solid player for the 5 seasons with the Sonics. He finished second in DPOY in the 1981-1982 season and made the All-Star game.

Nate McMillan is known as "Mr Sonic". He was a great point guard and amazing on the defensive end.

Downtown Freddie Brown was one of the key clogs in helping the Sonics win the NBA title in 1979. Somehow, he is not part of the NBA hall of fame.

Sikma was a great Supersonic. He won an NBA championship with the team and made 7 All-Star Games.

When Detlef Schrempf came from Indiana to Seattle fans were excited. He went to the University of Washington and was a great scorer.

Ray Allen came from Milwaukee in the Gary Payton trade and was amazing for the Sonics. He helped the Sonics make multiple playoff runs and was loved by the city.
4. Spencer Haywood
Haywood was before his time. He could score with the best of them. He was a legendary Supersonic and won rookie of the year during his first season.
3. Shawn Kemp
Shawn Kemp was one of the main reasons the 1990s Sonics were the most popular teams in the NBA. He was high-flying and one of the most exciting players to watch.
2. Lenny Wilkens
Many think Wilkens spent most of his career with Seattle. That's not the case but during his time in Seattle he was three time all-star. And he was the coach of the 1979 NBA Championship team.

Payton was known as "The Glove". He is one of the best defenders in NBA history and won a defensive player of the year with the Sonics. Payton remains a Seattle legend.
