The Worst Draft Picks In NFL History

Every NFL goes to the draft with hopes and dreams of finding the next star for their franchise. However, sometimes it turns out to be a disaster. Here's the worst draft picks in NFL history for every franchise.
Arizona Cardinals - Wendell Bryant

The Cardinals drafted Wendell Bryant in 2002 12th overall in the draft. He was a DT who ended up with just two sacks in two seasons. Multiple suspensions ended his career.
Atlanta Falcons - Jamal Anderson

Jamal Anderson was picked 8th overall to become a premier pass rusher for the Falcons. He was drafted in 2007 and had just 4.5 sacks over four seasons. He never became a impact starter.
Baltimore Ravens- Kyle Boller

In 2003 the Ravens started Kyle Boller 19th overall so he could become their franchise QB. He struggled throwing more INTs then TDs over his five seasons.
Buffalo Bills - Aaron Maybin

In 2009 the Bills selected Maybin a DE 11th overall. In two seasons with the Bills he ended up with a brutal ZERO sacks.
Carolina Panthers - Rae Carruth

Carruth was drafted 27th overall. But his career ended after three season where he got in some very serious legal trouble which led him to land in prison for nearly two decades.
Chicago Bears- Curtis Enis

The Bears drafted Curtis Enis a RB 5th overall. He never topped 4 yards per carry he had numerous injuries and had 4 career TDs before retiring after just three seasons.
Cincinnati Bengals- Akili Smith

Akili Smith was drafted 3rd overall by the Bengals to be their franchise QB. He started just 17 games and had 5 TD and 17 INTs becoming one of the biggest busts in NFL history.
Cleveland Browns- Johhny Manziel

The Browns drafted the popular QB 22nd overall in the 2014 draft. He had a lot of immaturity issues and ended being out of the league after two seasons.

Carpenter was a LB, was drafted 18th overall. He started just three games in four seasons and mostly ended up bouncing around the league on special teams.

Adams was taken 4th overall by the Buccaneers in 2007. He had 13.5 sacks in just over 2 seasons and was traded. He tragically passed away at age 26 due to heart failure.

He was drafted 6th overall. And got suspended for a full season before being traded away. He revived his career in other stops.
