The Worst NFL QBs The Last 25 Years

The Worst NFL QBs The Last 25 Years

Seattle On Tap Edit

There are QBs who fans of their teams just can't stand the thought of them. The most important position in team sports. But these are the worst ones in the last 25 years. Including one from our Seattle Seahawks.

25. Josh Freeman - Buccaneers

Seattle On Tap Edit

Yeah, he was awful. There was a chance where burst on the scene and made people excited. But then it was all downhill from there.

24. Blake Bortles- Jaguars

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

Yeah, sure, he led them to the playoffs. But his mechanics were broken and his decision making was awful. They won games usually despite him.

23. Ryan Lindley- Cardinals

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He did have a playoff start in his career. He had a historically low passer rating and bad decision making for a starting QB.

22. Johnny Manziel- Browns

Manziel was amazing in college and won the Heisman trophy. But his immaturity led him to being out of the league faster than he burst on the scene.

21. Charlie Whitehurst- Seahawks

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He had a great nickname "Clipboard Jesus". He started a few games for the Seahawks but no one got convinced he was a NFL starter.

20. John Skelton- Cardinals

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He started a handful of games for the Cardinals and looked completely confused and out of sync. He threw nearly as many INTs than completions.

19. Trevor Siemian- Broncos

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He was a brief starter for the Broncos post Peyton Manning. He struggled with accuracy, pocket presence and confidence.

18. Curtis Painter- Colts

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

The only memory of Painter is he had to play for Peyton Manning. He couldn't hit open receivers and could not command the offense.

17. Chad Henne- Dolphins

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He did start a ton of games and kind of was a fan favorite. He stuck around the league but was always below average.

16. Kyle Boller- Ravens

The Sports On Tap Edit

Big arm. Zero control. He wasted multiple seasons with the Ravens elite defense.

15. Troy Smith- Ravens

Seattle On Tap/ Bio

He was a Heisman winner but never looked like an NFL QB. He was short and lacked arm strength. He had a brief pro career.

14. Sam Darnold - Jets Version

Seattle On Tap Edit

The Jets thought they had their savior. But he let them down big time. He did rescue his career and earned a contract with the Seahawks.

13. Mike Glennon- Bears, Buccaneers

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He got paid and lost multiple starting jobs. He was tall but slow, smart but way too cautios.

12. E.J Manuel- Bills

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

Picked in the first round by the Bills. He got a shot to start. He flamed out so quick he hasn't been seen since.

11. Matt Leinart- Cardinals

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

Massive hype. And massive disappointment. He was more interested many thought in fame than football.

10. Brock Osweiler- Broncos, Texans

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He made $37 million and did nothing to earn it. He looked promising in Denver then went to Houston where he was gone quick.

9. Christian Ponder- Vikings

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He was drafted in the first round and could not throw more than 10 yards downfield. He never showed development.

8. Mark Sanchez- Jets

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He started with promise and even went to the AFC Championship game. But he's remembered more for the "butt fumble".

7. Brandon Weeden- Browns

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

Already a 28 year old rookie, he looked so lost. He threw INTs like it was part of the playbook.

6. JaMarcus Russell- Raiders

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He flamed out so quick. Becoming one of the biggest busts in NFL history.

5. Jimmy Clausen- Panthers

The Sports On Tap Edit

Carolina hoped they found their answer at QB. But nope, He was inaccurate and had no leadership skills.

4. Josh Rosen- Cardinals

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He was drafted 10th overall, he talked a big game and did nothing. He was replaced quick and bounced around several teams.

3. Blaine Gabbert- Jaguars

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He had multiple chances but failed. A first round pick who kept going backwards.

2. DeShone Kizer- Browns

Seattle On Tap Edit/ MLB.com

He was thrown into the fire as a rookie to the Browns. He led the league in INTs and was a nightmare.

1. Nathan Peterman- Bills

The Sports On Tap Edit

His first start resulted in five interceptions in the fist half. It became the stuff of legends (in a bad way).
