Seattle Seahawks fans know that one of the main issues plaguing this team from being more successful during the beginning of the season is protecting the quarterback (Geno Smith) and run blocking for Kenneth Walker III. Well, of course that goes to the offensive line. But I guess it should be expected. There are only three teams in the NFL allocating $20 million or less to their offensive line. The Seahawks are among those three teams. And well, the Seahawks are the only one of those team at .500.

Patriots 2-6
Saints 2-6
All three teams rank 25th or worse in PFF pass blocking grades. Saints rank ninth in run blocking, but Seahawks/Patriots in bottom third.
Get what you pay for.
Well, yes, it seems obvious. But when you see those numbers on your screen, you know what the team has to do. Fans of the Seahawks seem quick to put the blame on Geno Smith or new head coach Mike Macdonald. But in reality, the team needs to spend some money on the offensive line, or we will continue to have this problem for years to come.
