McBride Drops 35 and the Knicks Just Swept the 76ers Out of the Playoffs

The New York Knicks are heading to the Eastern Conference Finals after completing a sweep of the Philadelphia 76ers, and it was McBride's 35-point explosion that put the final nail in the coffin. In Game 4, the Knicks tied a playoff record by draining 25 three-pointers, with 18 of those coming in the first half alone. This wasn't even close. The 76ers are done.

A Three-Point Clinic Like Nothing We've Seen

You talk about offensive fireworks, and this was the definition. The Knicks didn't just win Game 4, they absolutely dismantled Philadelphia's defense with an otherworldly shooting performance. Hitting 25 threes in a single playoff game ties the record, and doing 18 of them before halftime? That's the kind of offensive onslaught that ends series. There was no answer for it. By the time the 76ers realized what was happening, the Knicks had already put the game out of reach.

McBride Takes Over When It Matters Most

McBride didn't just show up for the closeout game, he absolutely went off for 35 points and gave the 76ers zero chance to climb back in. Joel Embiid's return wasn't enough to save Philly from elimination. The Knicks defense was suffocating, the three-point line was treated like a free throw line, and McBride was the one pulling the trigger when it mattered most. This is how you close out a series in the playoffs.

Next Up: The Eastern Conference Finals Await

The Knicks are moving on, and they're doing it with momentum and confidence. Now comes the real test. The Eastern Conference Finals are here, and New York will look to keep this level of shooting and intensity rolling against whoever comes out of the other side of the bracket.
