Jordan Staal Just Won the Conn Smythe and It's Fueling Every Kraken Fan's Fire

Alright, Seattle, pull up a chair, grab a cold one. We just watched the Carolina Hurricanes hoist the Stanley Cup, and yeah, it stings a little. It’s a huge moment for their fans, seeing all that "Patience & Persistence Pays Off," but for us in the Emerald City, it’s a stark reminder of what we're always fighting for here at Climate Pledge Arena. Jordan Staal took home the Conn Smythe, a massive individual achievement, and it just makes you think about our own guys, right? Every big moment in another league just puts a little more fire in the belly of every Kraken fan out there, hungry for our turn.

Canes Take the Cup, Vegas Stings

You saw it, the Hurricanes won the Stanley Cup. It was a big deal, and Jordan Staal got the Conn Smythe trophy for his incredible run. Meanwhile, for the other side, Vegas is looking at a "Pivotal Offseason" after that series. It's the kind of intense finish that gets you hyped, even when it’s not our boys out there. You see how a team can come together, how individual players step up, and it’s impossible not to imagine that for our own Kraken squad. We know what it takes to build a contender, to see that kind of teamwork on display. Seeing another team reach that summit, it just pushes us harder, makes us look forward to the day when we're celebrating a Cup win in Seattle.

M's Grinding While Other Teams Go Off

And it's not just hockey dominating the headlines. Over in MLB, we're seeing some wild stuff too. The Rays are sitting at 41-27, and the Dodgers are looking strong at 45-27. It's a long season, absolutely, but you can't ignore those records this deep into it. We even had the Rockies putting up a ridiculous 23-9 score on the A's, which is just insane. And how about the drama of Yamamoto's no-hitter ending in the ninth inning? Heartbreaking for him, but what a performance. We also saw J-Ram dealing with a hamate bone fracture, which is brutal for any player. It's a reminder that every team is battling it out, every game matters, and every injury changes things. Our Mariners are in the thick of it, grinding through the season, and you can bet our fan base is watching every pitch, every swing, hoping for those big moments for our own squad. It's a crazy time across all sports right now, with so much happening every day. But no matter what's going on elsewhere, our focus is always on our Seattle teams. We're riding with them every single game, every single shift. We know what we've got, and we're ready to see them make their own headlines. Let's keep that energy up, 12s, because there's always something incredible around the corner for us.
