Knicks Just Hit 25 Threes in One Game and Nobody in the NBA Has Ever Done This Before

The New York Knicks tied a playoff record that felt untouchable. They launched 25 three-pointers in a single postseason game, and that kind of accuracy from deep? That's the kind of thing that ends series. Spoiler alert: it did. The Knicks completed a sweep of the 76ers and punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals.

McBride Took Over When It Mattered

Jalen McBride absolutely erupted in Game 4, dropping 35 points to put the final nail in Philadelphia's coffin. The Knicks didn't just win this game, they dominated the perimeter. In the first half alone, New York connected on 18 threes. At that pace, a sweep wasn't a question of if, it was a question of when.

What a Sweep Means for New York

The Knicks are heading to the Eastern Conference Finals after dismantling a 76ers team that came in as a legitimate threat. This wasn't some close, grinding series either. New York's three-point barrage and McBride's firepower made it look easy. Philadelphia had no answer for the volume or the accuracy, and when a team gets hot from three in the playoffs, you're basically watching a team get eliminated in real time.

The Rest of the Bracket is Heating Up

While the Knicks were finishing their business, the Timberwolves had their shot to pull even with the Spurs in San Antonio. The postseason is moving fast, and there's still plenty of drama left in these conferences. The Eastern Conference Finals matchup is set. Now we wait to see who else is ready to make a run.
