The 45-27 Dodgers Are Rolling, And Mariners Fans Have Every Right To Be Demanding More

Alright, Seattle fam, another week in the wild world of sports is in the books, and man, it's a lot. We've got championships getting decided, massive scores, and national headlines everywhere. But let's be real, when you're bleeding green and blue like we are at Seattle On Tap, you're always checking in, wondering where our teams fit into all that noise. We're watching the big names dominate elsewhere, and it just makes you hungry for our own to make that kind of splash.

MLB Is Heating Up, What Are We Doing About It?

Look, the numbers don't lie. Out there in the league, teams like the Dodgers are on an absolute tear, sitting at a wild 45-27. And the Rays? They're right there too, crushing it at 41-27. We saw highlights like the Rockies putting up a ridiculous 23-9 score against the A's, and some serious power being unleashed with Chourio blasting a leadoff homer. Even Yamamoto threw a no-hitter that almost went the distance before ending in the 9th! These are the kinds of dominant performances that grab headlines and make you wonder, "What's our squad got cooking at T-Mobile Park?" We know what guys like Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodriguez are capable of, and we're just itching to see them light up the highlight reels with that kind of consistent fire. We're keeping an eye on every pitch, every swing, eager for our Mariners to climb the ranks and show the league what the Emerald City is all about.

Championship Dreams Are Real, Kraken, Are You Watching?

It's been a wild ride in the hockey world, and major props to the Hurricanes. They just clinched the Stanley Cup, a fact that's still buzzing across the league. Seeing Jordan Staal hoist that Conn Smythe, it just makes you think, doesn't it? Imagine that energy in Climate Pledge Arena. Our Kraken, with leaders like Jordan Eberle, the dynamic Matty Beniers, and a defensive force in Vince Dunn, are building something special. Watching another team celebrate that ultimate victory just fuels the fire for us here in Seattle. We want to see our guys not just in the mix, but going all the way, feeling that rush of bringing a championship home. The Canes' win is a reminder of what's possible, and it's what we're striving for.

Around the League: What Else Is Brewing for the 12s?

Beyond the ice, the NBA saw the Knicks take home a title, with all sorts of drama around their title bonus pay and Brunson joining elite company. The UFC had some massive fights at the White House, with Gaethje beating Topuria and Gane knocking out Pereira. While those are big stories, our focus always circles back home. We're always talking about our Seahawks, looking ahead to what QB Sam Darnold can do, and what big plays Jaxon Smith-Njigba is going to pull off for us this season. Every piece of news out there, from trades shaking up playoff races in the NFL to world cup standings updates, just reminds us that the sports world never stops spinning. So, we keep cheering loud, supporting our teams, and waiting for our moment to dominate those headlines. Next up, we keep our eyes on our Mariners, pushing through the season, and our Seahawks prepping to make some serious noise. This is our year, Seattle. We gotta believe!
