The Nine Words Bryan Mulry Said That Tell You Everything About The New Women's Golf Series

Alright, Emerald City, I know what you're thinking. "Golf? Really, dude? Where's the deep dive on Sam Darnold's new playbook or Julio Rodriguez's bat?" And yeah, you're right to ask! We bleed green and blue around here, no question. But sometimes, something cool happens in the wider sports world, something that just speaks to the spirit of competition we all love. And listen up, because Mission Resort + Club just dropped some serious news for women's golf, kicking off a whole new tournament series in Lake County that sounds pretty epic.

A New Series Kicks Off: Get Ready for Team Play

So, what's the deal? They're rolling out the green carpet for the Mission Resort + Club Ladies Team Championship, running from October 9th to October 11th. We're talking 36 holes of pure competition, a two-player team format, spread out across their El Campeón and Las Colinas courses. You know me, I love a good team dynamic, whether it's on the gridiron or the links. It adds that extra layer of strategy, that buddy-system pressure, you know? nd experience. Think about it: a welcome reception, a private dinner with live entertainment, sweet player gifts, and then capping it all off with an awards luncheon. They're making a full-on event out of it, celebrating the game and the people who play it. Bryan Mulry, the Director of Golf, totally nailed it when he said: "We're excited to create an event that celebrates both competition and camaraderie." That's the heart of it, isn't it? That's what we love about sports in general, that mix of fighting for the win and building connections. And this isn't a one-and-done deal either. This championship is just the first in what they're calling a planned series of annual amateur events. They're already talking about bringing men's, couples, and even scramble competitions into the mix for 2027. So, this isn't just a blip on the radar; it's a full-on movement for amateur golf at Mission Resort + Club. Look, I know we're usually hyped about the roar of the 12s at Lumen or the crack of the bat at T-Mobile Park. But sometimes, you gotta appreciate the spirit of competition wherever you find it. Registration for this Ladies Team Championship is open right now, and they're saying space is limited. So, if you're a lady golfer out there, or just someone who appreciates a well-run event celebrating the game, you might want to check it out. It's cool to see new opportunities emerge in the world of sports, even when they're not drenched in teal and neon green. Here's to good competition, no matter the sport!
