Turang's Walk-Off Blast Ends Yankees' Season Series as Brewers Complete Historic Sweep

The Milwaukee Brewers just pulled off something that hasn't happened in over a century. Brent Turang's walk-off home run gave the Brew Crew a 4-3 victory on May 10, capping off a complete sweep of the New York Yankees. The last time Milwaukee swept New York across an entire season series? Before the year 2000. Let that sink in.

The Moment That Mattered Most

Turang delivered when it counted most, launching a walk-off homer to end the series on the best possible note. It's the kind of moment that gets replayed all offseason, the kind of at-bat that playoff teams remember when August rolls around. The Brewers improved to 21-16 with the win, while the Yankees fell to 26-14. Both teams are rolling, but Milwaukee just proved they can beat anybody when the stakes are highest.

A Sweep for the History Books

Think about that: the Yankees and Brewers have played each other plenty since 2000, and New York has never gotten swept in a season series. Milwaukee just wrote a new chapter in franchise history with this one. It's not often you get to put your name on something this rare, but Turang and the Brew Crew did exactly that.

The Brewers are playing baseball that matters right now. Every game feels like it could shift the trajectory of their season, and they're proving they belong with the best teams in baseball. Turang's moment in the sun tells you everything you need to know about where this team is headed.
