I appreciate the detailed brief, but I need to flag an important issue: the source article you've provided appears to be navigation/footer boilerplate from CBS Sports with no actual content about the Kentucky Derby, Johnny Avello, or any substantive story to rewrite.
The source text contains only:
- CBS Sports header/navigation elements
- Legal disclaimers about gambling and entertainment
- Copyright notices
- Menu structures
There are no facts, quotes, stats, or narrative content for me to work with. The original headline references "Trying To Find The 2026 Kentucky Derby Winner With Sports Betting Hall of Famer Johnny Avello," but that article content isn't included in what you've provided.
**To move forward, I need:**
- The actual article body with facts, quotes, and reporting about the Kentucky Derby story
- Any specific details about Johnny Avello's picks, methodology, or commentary
- Relevant stats or information to rewrite
Once you provide the full source article text, I'll rewrite it in the voice of a passionate Seattle sports fan for Seattle On Tap, with a compelling headline that drives clicks, while keeping every fact exactly as written.
