Vegas Just Won Their Third Straight and Edmonton Has No Answer For It

The Golden Knights are on an absolute tear right now, and they just glided past the Oilers to make it three wins in a row. This is the kind of momentum that changes the temperature of a season, and Vegas is feeling it.

The Knights Keep Rolling

Vegas came out with the kind of energy that makes you wonder if the Oilers even showed up to play. The Golden Knights controlled the pace, dictated the terms, and frankly, made Edmonton look lost for large stretches. When a team wins three straight like this, it is not by accident. It is execution. It is depth. It is everybody buying in.

The Oilers had their chances, sure, but Vegas was the hungrier team on the ice. That is the story here. Vegas wanted it more, and it showed in the final score.

Edmonton Cannot Keep Up

Look, Edmonton has talent. Nobody is going to argue that point. But talent does not always translate to wins when you are facing a team that is locked in like Vegas is right now. The Golden Knights are playing with swagger, and it is contagious. When you lose to a team playing like that, you feel it.

This loss is the kind that stings because the Oilers had to know they could not afford to be flat. Vegas was coming in hot, and Edmonton needed to match that intensity from puck drop. They did not.

What Is Next

Vegas has momentum on their side now, and that is dangerous. The Golden Knights are showing they can string wins together, and in this league, that is what separates the contenders from everybody else. Edmonton has work to do if they want to get back on track, but one loss does not define a season. How they respond? That is what matters.
