It’s not really football season until fans start throwing hands, and Chiefs vs. Bears gave us our first taste over the weekend. Preseason games may be meaningless on the field, but when you mix alcohol, 90-degree heat, and two fanbases with plenty of pent-up rage, the stands become the main event.

A #CHIEFS AND #BEARS FANS GOT INTO A MASSIVE FIGHT AT THEIR PRESEASON GAME IN ARROWHEAD.
ONE FAN WAS REPORTEDLY LEFT SERIOUSLY INJURED AND WAS BLOODIED ALL OVER.
An absolute mess in middle of the game — things got crazy 😳😳😳

At Arrowhead, the action turned away from the field as a brawl broke out in the crowd, catching so much attention that even Bears players on the sideline started watching. One Chicago fan ended up on the wrong side of it all, taking a beating from a Chiefs supporter that left him bloodied and staggering away.
Forget roster battles, this was the real preseason highlight. NFL teams are still cutting down to 53, but the fans are already in midseason form. And once again, Arrowhead Stadium proves there’s no fight quite like an AFC showdown in the stands.
