14 Threes in a Half Wasted: The Spurs Blew a 29-Point Finals Lead and the League Is Watching

Holy cow, you guys! If you missed Game 4 of the NBA Finals, you absolutely NEED to see the replay. The Knicks just pulled off an unprecedented 29-point comeback victory against the Spurs, taking a commanding 3-1 lead in the series. It was absolutely wild, especially after San Antonio looked like they were running away with it early, only to completely crumble.

Seriously, How Do You Blow That Lead?

I mean, seriously? The Spurs came out absolutely RED HOT in Game 4, draining a Finals-record 14 three-pointers in just the first half. Think about that: FOURTEEN! They were playing lights out and built up a monster 29-point advantage. Anyone watching thought it was over, right? But then, it all just fell apart, didn't it? After breaking the Knicks' 13-game playoff win streak in Game 3, San Antonio completely folded, leaving everyone stunned.

Anunoby and Brunson Steal the Show, MVP Race Stays Wild

But let's talk about the Cardiac Knicks, because they earned that W with pure grit. OG Anunoby was an absolute beast, dropping 33 points and then, with the game on the line, he delivered the game-winning putback in the final seconds. You can't make this stuff up! And Jalen Brunson? He was the engine, scoring 36 points to lead this historic comeback. This was a monumental statement. The Knicks now hold a huge 3-1 edge in the Finals. Even pop icon Taylor Swift was courtside at MSG, so you KNOW it was a spectacle. Oh, and about that Finals MVP race? Karl-Anthony Towns is still holding onto the top spot, but with Anunoby and Brunson's performances, it's getting super murky with so many worthy candidates. Plus, Game 3 was the most-watched Finals Game 3 since 1998, pulling in 23.8 million viewers on ABC and ESPN, a clear sign everyone is locked into this series. What a series, right? The Knicks are now just one win away from taking home the championship trophy. Can the Spurs recover from blowing a 29-point lead and setting a 3-point record in the same game? They'll need to figure things out fast if they want to stay alive. This series isn't over until that final buzzer, but the momentum is clearly with New York. You absolutely cannot miss what happens next! Get ready!
