Forget your usual draft prep, this changes the whole conversation right now! This isn't just some small blip on the radar, this is a legit talent suddenly on the market, and believe me, the Emerald City needs to be paying attention.

Who Is This Guy and Why Does It Matter for Our Hawks?

So, who is Brendan Sorsby, this new name everyone's buzzing about? He's a Texas Tech QB, a big guy at 6'3" and 235 pounds. When a player of his caliber decides to hit the supplemental draft, it's a serious curveball for every front office across the league. A talent like Sorsby can force a re-evaluation of everything. We've got Sam Darnold leading the charge under center, and we're excited about what he can do this season. But competition, depth, and future planning are *always* paramount on the minds of Coach Macdonald and OC Brian Fleury. A surprise talent like Sorsby, especially at quarterback, means scouting departments are working overtime to weigh all the possibilities. <

h2>The QB Landscape Is Shaking Across the League This Sorsby news isn't happening in a vacuum, folks. It underscores a truth about the league right now: everyone is looking to strengthen their quarterback situation. Just look at Miami, for instance. They've had Malik Willis with an "up-and-down offseason" down there. That kind of uncertainty makes a team consider every single option on the table, and a supplemental draft pick offers an intriguing, immediate pathway to bring in new talent. It's a high-stakes poker game, and Sorsby just put a new chip on the table. For us here in Seattle, with our new coaching staff establishing their vision, ensuring we have the best possible talent pool at the most important position on the field is critical for success. Are they looking at Sorsby? Are they assessing what he brings? You know our front office is doing its due diligence. This is the kind of unexpected twist that makes the NFL so wild. The 12s know that every single piece of talent, every potential pick, can shift the direction of a season and impact our goals. The question now is, what does this sudden availability mean for our QB room? How will this impact the ongoing conversation around Sam Darnold and our overall strategy moving forward into the heart of the season? Teams will be scrambling to make their assessments and their moves fast. We need to watch this space closely to see if our Seahawks make a play for this unexpected talent, or if this simply heats up the market for everyone else. Either way, it's a story that absolutely demands our full attention!
