CeeDee Lamb Is Rattled Before Week 1, And Nobody In The NFL Is Ready For John Harbaugh
Alright, 12s, can you believe what’s already brewing around the league? We’re still in the early days of the NFL season, and John Harbaugh hasn't even coached a single game for the Giants yet, but he's already got CeeDee Lamb rattled before Week 1. Seriously, that's just wild. Meanwhile, over in the NBA, the Knicks are absolutely on fire, racking up their ninth straight playoff win, thanks to Josh Hart just draining threes like it's a casual Tuesday practice.
Harbaugh's Early Impact and a Costly Mistake
We're always focused on our Seahawks and how they're prepping for the season under Mike Macdonald, but you gotta look at what's going on elsewhere. Harbaugh, man, he’s a force. To get a player like CeeDee Lamb rattled before the season even properly kicks off, before you even step on the field for a game? That speaks volumes. It's the kind of intensity that sets a tone. And speaking of setting tones, but in a totally different way, former UGA standout Nolan Smith found himself in some serious hot water. Dude was arrested after being caught going 135 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. That's a brutal reminder for any athlete, especially early in the season, to stay sharp and stay out of trouble. Our guys need to be dialed in.

Switching gears to the hardwood, the Knicks are making a deep playoff run look easy, notching their ninth straight victory. Josh Hart has been an absolute beast, hitting a barrage of threes that just sunk opponents. Post-game, the dude was just chilling, talking about pizza and whether KAT is a crust guy. Imagine that level of calm after being so dominant! But not everyone is convinced about other teams' talent. Kenny Atkinson, prepping for a game tonight, went on record saying James Harden is a good defender and that the Knicks just got lucky. You gotta wonder about those kinds of takes. Back on the diamond, and looking back just a bit, remember when the Angels and Rays were seriously discussing a blockbuster trade back at the 2023 deadline, potentially sending Shohei Ohtani for Junior Caminero? Man, what a wild 'what-if' that would've been. Glad our Mariners are just focused on grinding out this early season.
It’s a wild time in sports right now, 12s, with drama unfolding across the leagues. From coaches rattling opponents to players making unfortunate headlines, and teams tearing through the playoffs. For us, we're here, watching our Mariners fight through this early part of the season, and eagerly awaiting every single snap from Sam Darnold, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, and our retooled Seahawks. We're ready for the battles ahead, staying loud and proud for the Emerald City!
