He showcased an improved jump shot, better ball-handling, and an uncanny ability to take over games with his explosive drives and defensive tenacity. Leading Louisville to a 25-9 record and a Sweet Sixteen appearance, Mitchell's impressive all-around play earned him First-Team All-ACC honors and solidified his status as a top NBA prospect, leading him to declare for the draft and ultimately become the 13th overall pick in 2017.
