Eric Haase Goes Yard Twice and the Giants Won't Stop Beating the Dodgers

The San Francisco Giants are making a habit of owning the Los Angeles Dodgers this season, and Eric Haase is the guy with the sledgehammer. Haase launched two home runs on Tuesday night as the Giants cruised past the Dodgers 6-2 on the road, continuing what's becoming a lopsided stretch in a rivalry that's supposed to be competitive.

Haase's Hot Bat Takes Over

Haase didn't just contribute, he put the game away with his two-homer night. Harrison Bader chipped in another long ball, and that was all the firepower San Francisco needed to dismantle a Dodgers offense that came into the game expecting a different result. When you're getting outslug at home like this, it's a problem.

The Giants Keep Finding Ways to Win

Adrian Houser took the loss for the Dodgers, allowing two runs on three hits in a performance that summed up LA's struggles against this Giants squad. The fact that San Francisco keeps coming back to the Dodgers and keep winning tells you everything about where these teams stand right now. The Giants aren't just stealing a game or two, they're establishing dominance in a matchup that should go either way.

Haase and the Giants head forward with momentum on their side. The Dodgers are going to have to figure out what's going wrong in this series, because getting outgunned at home is never the answer when you're trying to compete for anything that matters.
