Knicks Fans? Your Game 3 Watch Parties Are CANCELLED and It's All Because of Trump

Alright, my dudes, you ready for some NBA Finals drama that has absolutely nothing to do with a buzzer-beater or a crazy foul call? This one is wild. If you're a Knicks fan, if you bleed orange and blue, and you were planning to soak in the electric atmosphere outside Madison Square Garden for Game 3 on Monday night, I've got some heavy news for you. The U.S. Secret Service just dropped the hammer: all watch parties are officially CANCELED! Seriously, you read that right.

President Donald Trump is heading to MSG to catch Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Finals, and his visit is shaking things up big time. The New York Knicks are gearing up to welcome the President, hoping to take a commanding 3-0 lead against the San Antonio Spurs. But to keep the President and his team safe, the organization had to make some serious arrangements. And the biggest casualty? Those epic outdoor watch parties that are usually a staple of the Finals run. The Knicks confirmed on Saturday that fans who usually gather outside the arena will have to find a different spot to cheer on their team this Monday.

The President's Visit Shakes Up MSG

This news won't please many fans, that's for sure. Imagine the energy, the communal roar, all gone because of one high-profile guest. Madison Square Garden and the United States Secret Service issued a statement, saying, "As we move closer to Game 3 of the NBA Finals on Monday night, Madison Square Garden and the United States Secret Service want to help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all ticket holders by sharing important security procedures that will be in place." It's all about security, folks, but it still stings for the faithful who just want to be close to the action.

Inside MSG? Get Ready for a Lockdown

And if you're one of the lucky ones with a ticket inside the Garden, you better be prepared. There's going to be a strict no-bag policy in effect, so leave the backpacks and big purses at home. They're telling fans to limit personal items to an absolute minimum. Expect enhanced security measures, too, like TSA-style screening procedures. The word from the team is strong: guests are strongly encouraged to arrive at least two hours before tip-off. That's right, two hours! You'll need that extra time just for screening and entry. Plus, make sure you review the complete list of prohibited items on the Secret Service website before you even think about heading out, because there will be no storage available for any prohibited items you try to bring.

This whole situation is wild, isn't it? While the security chaos swirls, Jalen Brunson and the squad are focused on the court. They just barely edged out San Antonio, 105-104, on Friday. Game 3 is absolutely crucial for the Knicks to grab that 3-0 lead and put the Spurs in a real hole. It's going to be a crazy night inside MSG, with the nation's highest office in attendance and the pressure mounting for a Finals lead. So, if you're going, get there super early, be ready for the extra security, and make some noise for the home team. Let's hope the Knicks can still make this an unforgettable night for all the right reasons!
