Knicks Just Knocked Off the 76ers 2-0 and Brunson Is Playing Like He's Got Something to Prove

The Knicks are rolling, and Philly's in serious trouble. New York just took Game 2 to grab a 2-0 series lead against the 76ers, with Jalen Brunson finishing the job at 26 points and 6 assists. Yeah, you read that right. The 76ers brought their best, but it wasn't enough.

Brunson Is the Engine, and the Knicks Won't Stop

Brunson's performance tells you everything you need to know about how this series is trending. While the 76ers got 26 points from Tyrese Maxey, it still wasn't enough to slow down New York's fourth quarter run that sealed the deal. The Knicks' balance and execution in crunch time is what separates them right now. They're not just winning games, they're dominating the moments that matter most.

The Sixers' Problems Are Stacking Up

Philadelphia is facing the kind of deficit that has teams sweating. Down 2-0 at home means every remaining game becomes a must-win, and the margin for error disappears fast. Maxey's individual performance wasn't the issue, but the Knicks' depth and composure in the fourth quarter exposed a real vulnerability in Philly's ability to close out tight contests.

Where the Series Goes From Here

The Knicks are headed back to New York with momentum on their side. For the 76ers, this is desperation time. They need to find answers quick, or this series could be over before anyone expected it to be. In the playoffs, falling behind 2-0 against a team playing like the Knicks are playing right now? That's the kind of hole that's hard to climb out of.
