Knicks Obliterated the Sixers 144-114 and Nobody in Philly Saw It Coming

The Knicks just finished sweeping Philadelphia out of the playoffs with a performance so dominant it's going to sting for months. New York dropped 144 points on the Sixers, tying an NBA playoff record with 18 three pointers in just the first half. When the final buzzer sounded at MSG South, it was 144-114, and the Knicks had claimed their seventh consecutive playoff victory. This was a franchise playoff scoring high for New York, and they did it with the kind of offensive clinic that makes opposing coaches question everything.

Historic Three Point Barrage Decided This Series

The turning point came early and often. By halftime, the Knicks had already tied an NBA playoff record by draining 18 threes. That's not a coincidence or a fluke night. That's a statement. The Sixers had no answer for New York's perimeter assault, and by the time they figured out what was happening, the game was already over. The 4-0 sweep feels inevitable now when you look at the numbers. New York didn't just win this series, they dismantled it.

Seven Straight Wins Keep the Knicks Rolling

This victory marked the Knicks' seventh consecutive playoff win. They're playing at a level that's hard to match right now. Philadelphia's season ends in heartbreak, swept clean by a New York team that showed no mercy. The Sixers got outscored 114-114 wasn't close to enough. When you're down 30 by the end of the game, there's not much to say except the better team advanced.

The Knicks are moving on with serious momentum. This team is hungry, they're clicking, and if they keep playing like this, the rest of the league should be paying attention.
